SocialCollab Rules & Policies

Effective date: February 27, 2026.

1. Platform model

SocialCollab is a fan-backed campaign platform where users propose campaigns for social media creators. Backing a campaign is support for campaign funding momentum and does not guarantee creator participation, content delivery, specific outcomes, or timelines.

2. Campaign lifecycle and funding windows

  • Default campaign funding window: 45 days from publish date.
  • Campaign owners cannot set or change campaign duration; SocialCollab applies a fixed 45-day window.
  • Campaigns may be reviewed, paused, unpublished, or removed by admins at any time for policy, fraud, or legal concerns.
  • Authorized payments are intended to be captured when a campaign is marked funded by platform administration.

3. Payments, authorizations, and captures

  • Pledges may be card-authorized first and captured later when approved by platform administration.
  • No charges on your credit card until campaign is funded.
  • If a campaign is deleted or canceled before capture, pending authorizations can be canceled.
  • Processing fees, platform fees, affiliate fees, chargebacks, and refunds can reduce net campaign funds.

4. No guaranteed rewards or creator performance

  • SocialCollab does not guarantee that a creator accepts, performs, responds, or publishes requested content.
  • Support tiers are contribution levels only unless explicitly stated in writing by SocialCollab.
  • Backers accept outcome risk, creator availability risk, and platform moderation risk.

5. Creator and user conduct

  • No unlawful, violent, harassing, hateful, defamatory, sexual exploitation, or rights-infringing campaigns.
  • No impersonation, false endorsement, fake identity, or misleading affiliation with creators.
  • Users must own or have rights to uploaded media and campaign text.

6. Intellectual property and publicity rights

  • Campaign submitters are responsible for obtaining permissions to use names, likenesses, trademarks, and content.
  • On platform request, users must provide proof of rights and authorization.
  • SocialCollab may remove content on notice of infringement or rights violations.

7. Refunds, disputes, and chargebacks

  • Refund eligibility is determined by platform policy, payment processor rules, and applicable law.
  • Chargebacks and payment disputes may result in account restrictions or campaign suspension.
  • SocialCollab may withhold, offset, or recover funds associated with fraud or abuse.

8. Affiliate terms

  • Affiliate participation requires admin approval and accurate payout details.
  • Commissions are paid only on eligible captured payments, net of reversals, disputes, and fraud adjustments.
  • KYC/identity and payout verification may be required before disbursement thresholds are paid.
  • Self-referrals, fake traffic, automated clicks, and misleading claims are prohibited.
  • SocialCollab may reverse, withhold, or claw back affiliate commissions tied to fraud, refunds, chargebacks, policy violations, or invalid attribution.
  • Affiliates are responsible for tax reporting and legal compliance in their jurisdiction.
  • Affiliate status and commission rates may be updated, suspended, or terminated at SocialCollab's discretion.

9. Account enforcement

  • SocialCollab may suspend or terminate any account for suspected abuse, policy violations, or legal risk.
  • Attempts to bypass security controls, rate limits, anti-bot checks, or payment rules are prohibited.
  • Admins have final moderation discretion, subject to applicable law.

10. Legal and compliance notice

  • Users are responsible for compliance with local laws, tax obligations, ad disclosures, and payment regulations.
  • SocialCollab may update these rules at any time; continued platform use constitutes acceptance of updates.
